Currently General Counsel for Chubb Bermuda, Richard Porter has been appointed Senior Vice President (SVP), Head of Financial Lines at the firm, reporting to Judy Gonsalves, Vice President (VP) of Chubb Group and Division President, Chubb Bermuda.
He brings more than twenty years of industry experience to the role, and will be tasked with leading Chubb Bermuda’s Financial Lines unit, which includes D&O liability, cyber, transactional risk, E&O, and employment practices liability.
Prior to this appointment, he served as Chubb Bermuda’s General Counsel. He first joined the firm in 2011 as Associate General Counsel, before his promotion to General Counsel in 2016.
