Chubb hires Gordon Mackechnie as its new Chief Technology Officer

Property & Casualty insurance giant Chubb has appointed Gordon Mackechnie as its new Chief Technology Officer.

ChubbA seasoned technology leader, Mackechnie joins Chubb following a seven year tenure at Deutsche Bank. 

In his most recent role at the firm, he served as Chief Technology Officer.

Prior to that, he spent just under five years working as Head of Group Technology Infrastructure.

Julie Dillman, EVP Chubb Group Transformation Officer and Global Head of Operations and Technology, said: “Gordon has spent his career driving engineering excellence and aligning engineering to business outcome. He will challenge us to do more to create a better digital future for our company.”

In related news, Chubb recently embarked on a collaboration with SentinelOne in a strategic move aimed at bolstering cybersecurity practices for American businesses.

In August, Chubb also appointed Janice (Jae-Kyung) Mo to Country President of the company’s general insurance business in Korea.
