Chubb’s global multi-line reinsurance unit Chubb Tempest Re has hired Christopher Holland as a Vice President focused on casualty treaty underwriting in the United States, we’ve learned.
Holland was most recently a Vice President at AXIS Capital’s reinsurance unit, AXIS Re, based in New York and underwriting largely casualty treaty business.
We understand Holland made the move to Chubb Tempest Re USA earlier this month, which his Linkedin profile confirms, and will be based in Stamford, Connecticut.
At AXIS, Holland had a particular focus on underwriting and producing business for the re/insurers workers’ compensation, alternative risk and broader casualty treaty reinsurance books.
At Chubb Tempest Re he will work on a range of casualty and specialty casualty reinsurance business segments, from excess casualty, to workers’ compensation and environmental liability.
Holland previously held senior re/insurance underwriting positions at Platinum Underwriters, Zurich Insurance and AIG, over the course of his career.
