Chubb’s global multi-line reinsurance unit, Chubb Tempest Re, has appointed Sam Peters as Division President of Chubb Tempest Re Bermuda.
Peters currently serves as Chief Actuary for both this business and for Chubb Bermuda, which provides excess casualty, professional liability and property products.
Peters will have management responsibility for Chubb Tempest Re Bermuda and the property catastrophe reinsurance solutions.
His appointment is expected to take place at the beginning of next month and is still subject to approval.
Peters has over 18 years of insurance industry experience, joining Chubb in 2006 and has held a series of roles with increasing responsibility in the actuarial department.
