Global insurance and reinsurance broker Aon has announced that Carlo Clavarino, Executive Chairman, International, will continue in his role until 2029, following a contract extension.

Clavarino has played an important role for Aon since its inception in Italy. His contributions have helped strengthen the firm’s Risk Capital and Human Capital capabilities and drive growth through acquisitions.
In 2021, he was appointed Executive Chairman, International, and he joined the firm’s operating Executive Committee.
His prior roles at Aon include Chairman of the EMEA region, Chairman of Aon’s Southern Europe region, and Country Manager of Aon in Italy.
