Guernsey-based category 4 commercial general reinsurer, Clockwork Re, has appointed Mark Elliott, who has more than 25 years of experience across reinsurance, insurance, and insurance-linked securities (ILS), as Director.
Currently, Elliott serves as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Marco Capital Re and PoloWorks Insurance Managers.
In the past, Elliott has served as the CEO of Kelvin Re and Humboldt Re Limited, Director of ILS for Aon, Chief Underwriting Officer at Humboldt Re, and Client Insurance Manager of Artex.
He has a proven track record in underwriting, capital solutions and insurance captive management.
Established in January 2025 and founded by Dhruv Patel, with backing from PoloWorks group, Clockwork Re aims to capitalise on the superior insurance returns available through Lloyd’s of London and other collateralised reinsurance markets.
