CNA Hardy bolsters cyber offering with new pre-breach partnership

Specialist commercial insurer CNA Hardy has announced a partnership with GamaSec, a cyber-security firm, in a move designed to strengthen policyholders’ resilience and preparedness to cyber threats.

cyber-securityThe addition of GamaSec, which offers a pre-breach tool designed to prevent cyber attacks, joins a suite of partner services already available including penetration testing and security analysis through to security education.

Breach assistance and post-breach response partner services are also available including Forensic Investigators, Legal Services, Crisis Management & PR expertise and credit checking agency.

“Our latest cyber proposition reflects the changing risk environment. Technology adoption creates new exposures, and cyber criminals are becoming more sophisticated,” David Legassick, Head of Cyber, Tech & Life Science.

“In response, our Policy has been updated and now includes Impersonation Fraud/Social Engineering, which is one of the biggest exposures facing businesses today because it preys on the human weaknesses and mistakes.”
