CNA Insurance, a U.S. commercial property and casualty insurance company, has promoted Claire Louko to Senior Vice President, North America Reinsurance.
Based in Chicago, Illinois, Louko will be responsible for the teams managing reinsurance services, claims, operations, contracts and the firm’s corporate insurance programmes, in addition to her current responsibilities for ceded reinsurance placement.
She brings nearly two decades of industry experience, with expertise spanning property and casualty insurance, underwriting, commercial insurance, financial risk and more.
Louko has spent the past 12 years at CNA Insurance, most recently serving as Vice President, Head of Ceded Re, North America.
Prior to joining CNA Insurance, she spent almost seven years at Liberty Mutual Insurance, where she most recently held the role of Senior Property Underwriter – National Accounts.
