Life consolidator Phoenix Group has appointed Piero Cocevar as its interim Head of Insurance Risk and Reinsurance Oversight.
In 2015, Cocevar joined the Group as Senior Manager – Consolidation and Analysis at ReAssure, one of the Phoenix Group brands. After spending over ten years in that role, he was appointed Head of Reporting and Analysis.
His most recent position, prior to his recent appointment, was as Head of Actuarial Review (ReAssure), a role he held for over a year.
Prior to his time at Phoenix Group, Cocevar spent six years at GE Capital where he joined as Pricing Analyst before being appointed Valuation Actuary. Before that, he was an Actuarial Manager at SASA Vita.
According to the company’s website, Phoenix Group is the UK’s largest long term savings and retirement business. Its brands include Standard Life, Phoenix Life, ReAssure and SunLife – recently acquired by the Group.
