Conduit Holdings hires Rebecca Shelley as a Non-Exec Director

Conduit Holdings Limited, the parent company of Conduit Re, has appointed Rebecca Shelley as a non-executive director with effect from 24 July 2023. 

Conduit Re logoIn her new role, Shelley brings a vast degree of commercial and financial services experience to the Board, as well as an extensive background in investor relations and communications roles at public companies. 

She began her career working as an Investor Relations and Corporate Communications Director at Norwich Union plc from 1998-2000. In 2000, she would move to Prudential plc, starting as Investor Relations Director, and then going on to become Group Communications Director with a seat on their group executive committee. 

Moreover, from 2012 to 2016, Shelley was the Group Communications Director of Tesco plc and a member of their Executive Committee. During this time she held positions on the board of the British Retail Consortium and was a trustee of the Institute of Grocery Distribution.

Elsewhere, in her final executive role, she spent three years working at broker TP ICAP plc as Group Corporate Affairs Director, and was a member of the global executive committee.

Currently Shelley serves as a non-executive director of Sabre Insurance, Liontrust Asset Management and Hilton Food Group. In her various non-executive director roles, she has served on remuneration (including as chair), nomination, audit and risk committees and as the senior independent director. She is also chair of the sustainability committee at Hilton Food Group. 

Shelley will serve on CHL’s Nomination and Remuneration Committees, and will join Conduit’s ESG Committee.
