Former Everest underwriting executive Connie Germano has joined MGA platform DUAL North America as Chief Casualty Officer (CCO).
DUAL is an underwriting business founded in 1998. The company is one of the largest international MGA’s with over $3.2 billion of GWP.
Germano brings to her new role 25 years of international insurance leadership experience.
During her time at Everest Insurance, she served as President of Specialty Casualty for over six years. In this role, Germano formed the strategic, financial and cultural development of the business while engaging and supporting the broader Everest Group in a variety of ways.
Key among those were roles as lead of Everest Bermuda Management Board Underwriting Committee, Chair of the Global Casualty Board, Executive Sponsor of the Early Career Program and member of the DEI Selection Committee.
She also served as Senior Vice President for ACE USA for over 12 years, at AIG as Vice President for over six years, and at Zurich Insurance as an Underwriter for four years.
