Coverys Managing Agency, a Lloyd’s managing agent, has appointed Sarah Davies as a Non-Executive Director and Chair of Risk & Capital Committee.
David Hipkin, who previously served as a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Risk & Capital Committee at Coverys has also been appointed as Non-Executive Chair of the Board.
Davies brings over 30 years’ experience in re/insurance across the Lloyd’s & London Company markets to the role.
She began her underwriting career with the Royal and Munich Re before joining Wellington Underwriting in 1993 where she held various roles including property reinsurance underwriter, business support manager, and operations director.
She most recently worked for DARAG as the Group Chief Operating Officer, beginning in 2017.
Hipkin has over 40 years of experience in the London Insurance Market, beginning his career in 1980. Since his retirement from he has undertaken consultancy work with a variety of businesses in the London Market, he joined the Board at Coverys in January last year.
