Cowbell Cyber and Smart Choice are to partner up to help distribute cyber coverage and risk monitoring services.
Under the arrangement, Smart Choice’s network of 9,000 agency partners across 45 states will have access to Cowbell Prime 100, Cowbell’s flagship standalone and admitted cyber insurance product.
Smart Choice said in a statement that it had picked Cowbell Cyber because of its ‘robust standalone’ portfolio.

According to its website, Cowbell Cyber offers standalone, individualized, and easy-to-understand cyber insurance for small and mid-size enterprises. The company has been in the news repeatedly in recent weeks, making two leadership hires at the end of January and launching its own captive insurer Cowbell Re.
