Craig Douglas named EVP of RFIB Americas

Global Lloyd’s insurance and reinsurance broker, RFIB Group Limited, has announced the appointment of Craig Douglas as an Executive Vice President of RFIB Americas, effective immediately. 

RFIB logoDouglas joins from JLT Specialty Bermuda, and will be based in RFIB’s Bermuda office, and will report to Nick Foden-Pattinson.

He brings 22 years of experience to the role, and while at JLT Specialty Bermuda, he served as a Partner and advising on Excess Casualty and Life Sciences business. He started his career in the insurance sector at Heath Lambert in 1996, before holding a number of insurance and reinsurance broking roles, including those at Willis and Miller.

Douglas, commented: “I am delighted to be joining RFIB Americas a truly independent customer focussed brokerage with a strong heritage in the insurance and reinsurance sectors. The US market has huge potential for growth which can be fully explored understanding client’s needs, tailoring products and supporting new innovations. I look forward to working with the excellent team at RFIB Americas in developing business in this exciting territory.”

Foden-Pattinson, added: “We are delighted to have Craig join RFIB and expand our Bermuda presence further. We have seen increasing interest in this market from our clients and are keen to expand with people of Craig’s reputation and talent to assist with developing our Americas business further. I am very pleased to welcome him to RFIB.”
