Specialty insurer CRC Group has announced the addition of Greg Watson as Office President of a new branch the firm is set to open in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Watson started his career as a personal lines underwriter, and brings more than a decade of industry experience to CRC.
CRC states that his appointment enables it to open a branch in Charlotte, which is set to strategically expand CRC’s brokerage and binding offering in the region. In the coming months, the wholesale and specialty insurer expects to further expand its Charlotte-based team.
West McAdams, President of CRC Binding, said: “I am excited that Greg is joining the CRC team. We recognize the opportunities for growth in binding and adding a Charlotte office is a key strategy in our nationwide expansion.”
Commenting on his new position, Watson said: “Joining the CRC Group family will allow me to access industry leading data and analytics, in addition to tools and resources unique to the industry. I am looking forward to the opportunities building this new office will bring.”
