Cullen and Dykman appoints head of Risk Transfer & Insurance Coverage group

New York based law firm Cullen and Dykman LLP has announced that Julie Weerth has joined as a Partner in its Construction Litigation and Insurance Coverage Practices, where she will lead the Risk Transfer & Insurance Coverage group.

julie-weerthWeerth formerly served as Vice President of Complex Casualty Claims at AIG, and began her career as a litigator in New York, specialising in Labour Law and Insurance Coverage Litigation.

She has experience managing hundreds of complex casualty cases across the U.S, including class action, mass tort, products liability, construction defect, environmental pollution, sexual abuse, Title IX, discrimination, defamation, product disparagement, and public entities liability.

Weerth is an experienced Insurance Coverage litigator and has managed the litigation of many high-profile declaratory judgement actions over the last decade, with amounts in dispute frequently exceeding $100 million.
