Dale Underwriting Partners has launched its new accident and health (A&H) offering with the appointments of Steve Lawson and Lauren Meredith.
Lawson and Meredith, who both join Dale from HDI Specialty, will comprise the new A&H underwriting team.
Together, the two new hires bring 45 years of experience in underwriting A&H business.
The new product offering includes standard personal accident, illness and business travel products, as well as specialised war risk PA, emergency medical and security evacuation cover and kidnap & ransom.
“Steve and Lauren bring to Lloyd’s a wealth of experience and a very successful track record in creating bespoke A&H products,” said Duncan Dale, Chief Executive and Active Underwriter at Dale.
“Their expertise will be valued by our exclusively Lloyd’s-broker distribution channel and their clients, and we look forward to their contribution to building our business,” he added.
This announcement follows the approval of Dale Underwriting Partners’s 2020 business plan and the increased combined stamp capacity for 1729 and 6131 to £147m.
