DWF adds Richard Burger to London Regulatory team

Multinational law firm DWF has appointed Richard Burger as a Partner in its Regulatory, Compliance & Investigations team in London.

DWF LogoBurger joins DWF from corporate and insurance firm Reynolds Porter Chamberlain (RPC) and has 20 years’ experience in UK and international regulatory enforcement, criminal and internal corporate investigations.

He is also a former regulatory enforcement lawyer with the FSA and has represented clients in investigations by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), Information Commissioner’s Officer (ICO), Financial Reporting Council (FRC), National Crime Agency (NCA), Insolvency Service, HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) and the U.S Department of Justice.

Burger has regularly advised boards and senior managers on corporate governance, anti-financial crime, conduct and compliance.

In his new role at DWF, he will align with the business’s sector approach and advise its financial services clients, in addition to strengthening its contentious regulatory offering both in the UK and internationally.
