Multinational law firm DWF has further strengthened its insurance division with the appointment of David Abbott as Head of London Market.
Abbott joins from Clyde & Co where he served as the global co-head of reinsurance and senior partner in the specialty and energy teams for over 20 years.
He also advises the London and international markets on energy matters, including the onshore market and related mining and industrial work, as well as a range of liability coverage matters.
“David has a longstanding track record in global reinsurance and has developed a reputation as one of the leading advisors on trade credit, political risk and energy,” said Glyn Jones, Chief Executive Officer of Insurance Services.
