Lloyd’s of London headquartered commercial lines broker, EC3 Brokers, has expanded its U.S. operations with the addition of James Norris as Chief Actuary and Terry Holley as Senior Vice President (SVP).
The pair will report to President of EC3 Brokers US, Chris Hilton and will work closely with Danny Driscoll, the firm’s London-based Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Effective July 1st, 2019 Norris is based in the broker’s Dallas office, and joins from Lapis Resources where he served as President. He brings more than 25 years of industry experience to the role, and will assist clients with enhanced actuarial and analytical capabilities.
He has previously held positions at Greyhawk Insurance Company, Atlas General Insurance Services, and Greenlight Re.
Holley joined EC3 Brokers US on June 1st, having spent the past year working as a consultant to develop a new start-up managing general agent (MGA). He has worked closely with MGAs and captives throughout his career in the industry, assisting with the development of reinsured programmes in numerous business lines.
He has previously worked for Wellington Insurance Group and ALPS Reinsurance Intermediaries, which was later acquired by reinsurance broker Willis Re.
