Re/insurance broker Ed has appointed Raza Hassan to its Downstream Energy team in an effort to bring further focus to Power and Renewables.
Hassan joins from rival broker Marsh after more than three years’ with the firm.
He most recently served as a Client Executive within Marsh’s Energy Practice and, before that, spent time as an Account Manager.
Prior to his time at Marsh, Hassan was an Underwriting Technician at Munich Re Syndicate MRS 457.
Commenting on his appointment, Hassan said, “I would like to thank Tim Michelin and Steven Le Hellidu for helping to bring me on board and their support throughout the process. I could not be more excited to start this next chapter in my career.”
