Sompo International, a global provider of commercial and consumer property and casualty re/insurance, has appointed Redouane El Oulhani as Head of Distribution & Client Relationship Management, Insurance for France.
His appointment comes as the company is in the process of establishing insurance operations in France, subject to required regulatory notifications.
Based in Paris, El Oulhani will be responsible for building strong and productive working partnerships with brokers and clients alike in the region.
He joins Sompo International from Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty, where he spent the last 15 years of his career. He joined the company in 2008 and has held a number of roles ever since, most recently as Head of Sales for France, MEA, Greece and Turkey.

The news of El Oulhan’s appointment came shortly after Sompo International named Faugas Country Manager in early October.
