Eleonora Geamanu named Head of Willis Towers Watson in Romania

Global insurance and reinsurance broker Willis Towers Watson (WTW) has appointed Eleonora Geamanu as Head of WTW in Romania.

Eleonora GeamanuBased in Bucharest, she will take responsibility for driving revenue growth and meeting clients’ needs across the Romania marketplace, for a broad set of business lines.

She joined WTW in 2007 and has since held a number of client-facing and leadership roles, most recently serving as Head of Affinity and Motor for Romania.

Head of Central and Eastern Europe, WTW, Eleni Lykoudi said: “Romania is a high-potential market where our clients are increasingly demanding complex solutions to their risk and people needs. Eleonora has excelled in her previous roles with the company, and she has the market insights and leadership experience to help drive our business forward.”

Anca Roscaneanu, the previous Head of WTW in Romania, has been appointed Head of Sales and Client Management for Central & Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa, WTW.

Commenting on her new role, which she will begin once all necessary regulatory approval has been received, Geamanu said: “I am very excited to take this role and see how I can grow our business further.
