Energetic Insurance has appointed Nathan Maggiotto as Senior Vice President of Commercial Underwriting.
The company has been building out its team of late, as it scales up to deliver on a mission to help those involed in the clean energy transition secure risk transfer solutions and insurance, through the provision of credit enhancement products for renewable and distributed energy.
Maggiotto joins Energetic Insurance from insurtech, LiquidX where he served as Director of Product & Strategy for three years.
Prior to that, he spent just over three years at Marsh where he held the role of Vice President – Credit Specialties. Additionally, he also spent three years at Export-Import Bank, as well as Zuirch.
Maggiotto’s track record is unique and he certainly brings a strong level of expertise with him towards his new position at Energetic Insurance.
Meanwhile, in October 2021, Energetic Insurance completed a Series A funding round which totalled $7 million.
The funding round was led by Schneider Electric Ventures with participation from MS&AD Ventures, MCJ Collective, and Atlantic Global Risk.
