Everest Insurance, a division of global reinsurer Everest Re Group, has announced the addition of Vincent Vandendael – who confirmed his departure from Lloyd’s earlier today – as Chief Executive Officer of Everest Insurance International. He will be based out of the firm’s London office.
Vandendael will report to Jonathan Zaffino, President and CEO of Everest Insurance and is to lead all facets of the Everest Insurance operations outside of North America. He will also join the Everest Insurance global leadership team.

Vandendael brings 28 years of diversified global insurance experience to Everest throughout specialty and financial lines. Prior to joining Everest, he was Chief Commercial Officer at Lloyd’s of London responsible for all business development.
Before joining Lloyd’s in 2012, Vandendael spent 17 years in positions of increasing responsibility at Zurich Insurance Company, most recently serving as CEO for Global Corporate, Asia Pacific.
