Everest Re Group has appointed Georgios Toulkeridis, former Head of Aviation and Space R/I at Swiss Re, as Global Head of Aerospace Reinsurance.
Toulkeridis will join Everest’s Zurich office, and will be tasked with leading the development and execution of its underwriting strategy for Aviation and Space.
Additionally, he will be responsible for supporting the Continental European team on various non-aviation areas as Everest continues to develop the reach of its product suite for European clients.
During his 25-year career, Toulkeridis has gained extensive experience in building and managing profitable books of Aviation and Specialty lines.
He has been a Managing Director at Swiss Re since 2013, before which he held several senior positions at Hannover Re, including as Director of Aviation and Specialty.
