Everest Reinsurance has announced the appointment of Chuck Volker as Chairman of Global Property.
According to the firm, Volker will serve as a central point of contact for its property brokers and clients, enhancing its focus on “exceptional global service”.
Volker is a highly experienced industry executive, having worked at Everest Reinsurance for the last two decades, most recently serving as Senior Vice President.
Before this, he worked for 15 years at Phoenix Reinsurance/PXRE, chiefly as Senior Vice President.
In related news, Everest Reinsurance recently appointed Mark Wallace as Head of the UK Branch and Chief Underwriting Officer.
Everest explained that Wallace will be responsible for managing and directing the strategy and underwriting operations of the UK branch.
Everest Reinsurance also a short time ago established a dedicated Global Specialties business, bringing the division’s expertise and offerings across Aviation, Marine, Cyber, Engineering, and Parametric Solutions under the leadership of Phil Taylor, who has been appointed Head of Global Specialties.
