Jo Willaert has been confirmed as President of the Board of the Federation of European Risk Management Associations (FERMA) for a further two years, with the organisation also announcing the election of six Board members.
The general assembly of FERMA met in Brussels on Friday June 30th, 2017, and have now revealed that Willaert will remain as President of the Board for an additional two years.
Commenting on his re-election, Willaert said; “I am honoured to be asked by my colleagues to serve another term as president of FERMA. We have an unusual number of new board members this year. They bring remarkable experience and expertise to the board that will support FERMA as we develop our work on key issues such as cyber risks, captives and BEPS, environmental liability, Brexit and the future of the EU. They will contribute to risk leadership in Europe.”
FERMA has also announced six new Board members, which includes Philippe Cotelle, Head of Insurance and Risk Management of Airbus Defence & Space; Helle Friberg, Group Insurance Manager for Hemple; Tapio Huovinen, President of Finland’s FinnRima; Gaëtan Lefèvre, Risk, Insurance and Professional Ethics Manager for CMI Group; Xavier Mutzig, Group Insurance Manager for Johnson Matthey; and Laurent Nihoul, General Manager Corporate Risk and Insurance for ArcelorMittal.
