Fidelis Managing General Underwriter has promoted Nadia Beckert to the Head of International Reinsurance and Kevin Adams to the Head of US Reinsurance.
Beckert is a market veteran who has been with Fidelis Insurance for about two years, she served as the Senior Underwriter for the company while having started as an Underwriter for Fidelis Insurance.
Previously, Beckert was the Divisional Director at Willis Re, a subsidiary of the industry giant Gallagher Re for a period of five years. She served as the Desk Lead and Head of Willis Re International Alternative Capital Practice Group for London and DACH regions namely Germany, Austria and Switzerland. She also worked as a Broker and Actuarial Analyst for the same company before her promotion.
Beckert started her career as a Project Manager at V.E.R.S. Leipzig GmbH.
Kevin Adams who is now the Head of US Reinsurance at Fidelis MGU has been with the company for over six years. This recent promotion comes after serving as the Senior Underwriter for the company.
Previously, he held the position of Vice President at Guy Carpenter.
Adams has also served as a Senior Analyst at Towers Watson where his remit included working with clients to develop and monitor exposure concentration thresholds relating to the perils of hurricanes, earthquakes, severe convective storms and terrorism.
As a Senior Analyst, he was responsible for helping clients build and follow growth plans while informing them of possible risks associated with exposure to new perils and geographies.
Adams started his career as a Senior Catastrophe Analyst at Guy Carpenter.
Bermuda-based insurance and reinsurance holding company, Fidelis Insurance Holdings Limited, completed its transaction to create a new managing general underwriter (MGU) separate from its existing balance sheet insurance companies earlier this year.
