First Indemnity Insurance Group, an agency dedicated to liability products for the legal profession, has secured further underwriting capacity with the addition of State National Insurance Company, Inc.
State National, a program and fronting specialist insurer owned by re/insurer Markel, is located in the Dallas-Fort Worth area of Texas. The increased capacity will ultimately be delivered by Sate National’s partners.

This is the fourth general agency contract First Indemnity has added since terminating its relationship with Skyward Specialty Insurance Group Inc., formally Houston International Insurance Group, in May of 2020.
Earlier this month the company moved to its new headquarters, from Lynn to Boston, Massachusetts. In April the company was given a Performance Assessment of PA-3 (Strong) by AM Best.
