The Fortegra Group, a specialty insurer and subsidiary of Tiptree Inc., has appointed Abigail Taylor as Chief Operating Officer.
At the same time, the company has also named Joe Lettween as Chief Innovation, Data Science, and Technology Officer.
According to Fortegra, both hires bring a level of expertise and experience amongst Fortegra’s senior leadership across the US, UK, and Europe.
In her new role as COO, Taylor will oversee Fortegra’s daily operations and lead strategic growth initiatives.
Overall, she brings 20 years of experience towards the role. Prior to joining Fortegra, she served as Head of Client Operations for the Strategic Accounts at Asurion, where she crafted portfolio strategy and drove digital, supply chain and customer service improvements.
At the same time, in his new role as Chief Innovation, Data Science, and Technology Officer, Lettween will lead Fortegra’s efforts to scale both efficiently and securely through technology.
His deep expertise in machine learning and artificial intelligence strategies, as well as data products, and process automation will be highly imperative towards Fortegra’s continued success. Previously, he served as the Principal and Head of Data & Analytics at Osso Capital.
