Gallagher Re, a reinsurance broker, has recently announced the appointment of Wei Hou to the position of Head of Life and Health, UK and Ireland (UK&I).
In this role, he will be responsible for developing Life & Health solutions for the UK and Irish markets.
Prior to joining Gallagher Re, Hou served as Director at Reinsurance Group of America, Incorporated for almost five years.
Before that, he held various roles in insurance investment consulting and life reinsurance at companies such as PwC, WTW, and PartnerRe.
In a recent statement, Hou expresses enthusiasm for his new role, stating, “I’m excited to be part of the Gallagher Re life team.”
