Gallagher Re, a global reinsurance brokerage and advisory business, has confirmed the appointment of Casandra Ceballos as Executive Vice President, Facilities, Facultative, with responsibility for advancing its facilities and portfolio solutions offering across international markets.
In the Miami-based position, Ceballos will be responsible for shaping and expanding Gallagher Re’s global Fac Facilities and Portfolio Solutions proposition. The company said the role will centre on identifying growth opportunities, developing client partnerships and extending its expertise in specialist reinsurance solutions.
Before joining Gallagher Re, Ceballos held the position of Vice President, Hybrid Solutions, Facultative Reinsurance for Latin America at Everest Re, where she worked within the facultative reinsurance market.
According to Gallagher Re, her professional background spans facultative placements, facility arrangements, hybrid reinsurance structures, portfolio management strategies and cross-border insurance markets.
The company indicated that her appointment will contribute to the continued development of its global facultative operations and its ability to provide a wider range of reinsurance arrangements to clients.
