Philippe De Longueville is set to join reinsurance broker Gallagher Re’s EMEA West South team as Head of the company’s Belgium branch.
Gallagher Re posted a tweeted earlier today confirming the appointment.
The tweet said: “Delighted to announce that Philippe De Longueville will join our EMEA West South team as Head of our Belgium branch on 1 July 2022, focusing on treaty reinsurance clients across Belgium and Luxembourg. We look forward to welcoming Philippe into Gallagher Re.”
Philippe is a highly skilled reinsurance expert with over 30 years of experience within the industry.
In addition to his new role at Gallagher Re, he is also an Independent Board Member for Curalia, as well as Chair of Audit & Risk Committee at Credal.
Moreover, Philippe also previously served at QBE Insurance, where he held the role of Head of Actuarial and R&D – QBE Re.
Meanwhile, Gallagher Re recently hired six senior executives in the Asia-Pacific region.
