Global reinsurance broker, Gallagher Re, has appointed veteran Kelli Morash as Executive Vice-President in North America.
Morash will be based in Dallas, Texas, where as a senior sales leader, and part of the newly established NA sales vertical, will play a key role in driving new business growth by drawing on resources from across Gallagher Re’s various business segments, analytic offerings, and branch offices.
The new sales vertical builds on the existing matrix structure of branch and product specialisms overlaid with client advocacy, by introducing regional sales leaders to drive new client sales across their respective regions.
According to the broker, Morash’s focus on team collaboration will ensure clients and prospective clients receive strategic insight, specialist counsel, and transactional excellence, from across the group.

Morash brings more than 30 years’ experience in the insurance and reinsurance sectors and a diverse set of skills to bear on behalf of Gallagher Re’s clients in the US and worldwide.
She joins Gallagher Re from Asurion, one of the world’s largest administrators of mobile phone insurance and extended warranty contracts, where she was vice president of underwriting for six years.
Prior to Asurion, she was a partner at specialist reinsurance broker TigerRisk. During her five-year tenure in the company she focused on property catastrophe reinsurance clients.
Her previous roles include time working in various lines of business for companies such as Aon Benfield, Partner Re, and Chubb.
