Google-backed Lloyd’s syndicate Ki adds Rebecca Marsh as Underwriter

Ki, Brit’s digital follow-only syndicate, has announced the appointment of Rebecca Marsh as an Underwriter.

In her new role, Marsh will report to Helen Rios, Portfolio Underwriter. She will work across the Casualty classes, supporting the growth of Ki’s portfolio and acting as a key point of contact for distribution partners.

Prior to joining Ki, Marsh served at Sompo International, where she held the role of International Casualty Treaty Underwriter.

She also served as Casualty Treaty Underwriter at Liberty Mutual Reinsurance for four years, working across a number of different lines across the UK, Europe and US. Marsh started her career at Liberty Specialty Markets, where she served as Catastrophe Analyst for over two years.

Brit, a global specialty insurer, created Ki in collaboration with Google Cloud aiming to redefine the commercial insurance market.

Ki is described as the first fully digital and algorithmically-driven Lloyd’s syndicate. It writes follow-only business written by Brit or other ‘nominated’ syndicates.
