Graf to succeed Taranto as Everest Board Chair

Global insurance and reinsurance firm Everest has announced the retirement of Joseph V. Taranto, current Board Chair, when his term expires in May, and the nomination of John Graf by the Board to take over as Chair at the May 2025 Annual Shareholders Meeting.

everest-logo-2024Taranto has served as Chairman of Everest’s Board since 1994 and was the Bermudian’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) from 1994 through 2013.

His successor, Graf, has served as an independent board member since 2016, and is the non-executive Vice Chairman of Global Atlantic Financial Group.
