Re/insurance broker Aon, has appointed Grainne Richmond as executive vice president and head of captives for its Bermuda office.
With more than 20 years’ experience of insurance management in Bermuda, Richmond joins Aon from Strategies Risk Solutions (SRS), where she served as vice president for almost two years. Prior to this, she was vice president at Dyna Management Services for close to a decade before it was acquired by SRS.
She has also held a variety of positions at Dyna Management Services, Bermuda Insurance Institute and Artex Risk Solutions Bermuda.
Richmond was president of BIMA from 2016 to 2018 and was reappointed in 2021.
She took to LinkedIn to share the news of her new position, she said: I look forward to working with the wealth of diverse talent and experience not only in the Aon Bermuda office but also globally.
