Great American Insurance Group has announced plans to expand its excess & surplus (E&S) line offerings to wholesale brokers via the creation of a new division, called Great American Risk Solutions.
The firm has announced that the new unit will leverage the combined expertise and experience of both the American Empire Group and the Specialty E&S Division.
According to a statement on the establishment of Great American Risk Solutions, the new division will offer a wide range of E&S casualty and specialty solutions, and will have a team of experienced underwriters and claims professionals.
Divisional President of Great American Risk Solutions, Mark Lonneman, said; “Great American Risk Solutions simplifies and strengthens our collective E&S insurance offerings to wholesale brokers by offering a comprehensive and consistent E&S platform.
“We believe that this new business will streamline and enhance our service to this niche market, while providing opportunities to expand our footprint.”
