Reinsurance brokerage Guy Carpenter has named Andre Eisele from reinsurer Swiss Re, to become its new CEO of the Pacific Region.
Additionally, Guy Carpenter has appointed ex-Munich Re managing director Heinrich Eder to the Guy Carpenter Advisory Board for the Pacific Region.
The two senior appointments reflect Guy Carpenter’s push deeper into the Asia-Pacific region in recent months, as it made a number of senior hires to build out its reinsurance brokerage operations in the region.
Eisele joins Guy Carpenter from Swiss Re, where he most recently held the role of Head of Client Markets Property and Casualty for Australia and New Zealand. He will be located in Sydney and report to Tony Gallagher, Guy Carpenter’s Asia Pacific CEO.
Eder was most recently a Managing Director of Munich Holdings of Australasia in charge of life and non-life operations from 2005 to 2016.
