Guy Carpenter hires Shaun Sinniah as Head of Strategy & Client Engagement

Guy Carpenter & Company, LLC, the reinsurance broker and wholly owned subsidiary of Marsh & McLennan Companies, has appointed Shaun Sinniah as Head of Strategy and Client Engagement for the firm’s International and Global Specialties divisions, effective from October.

shaun-sinniahSinniah joins Guy Carpenter from Willis Re, where he most recently served as Managing Director, Sales & Client Management, having joined the firm in 2012.

He also spent two years as a Consultant at Willis, before which he was an Associate at Goldman Sachs in Hong Kong, having started at the company in 2005.

In his new role, Sinniah will be based in London and will work with heads of business across Guy Carpenter’s International and Global Specialties divisions to help deliver on strategic priorities and ensure the full delivery of Guy Carpenter’s services to clients.

Guy Carpenter said that Sinniah will now report to James Nash, President, International and Kevin Fisher, President, Global Specialties.

Nash commented on the appointment: “Shaun is a fantastic addition to the team and brings a wealth of experience in all aspects of client engagement. In his new role, he will work closely with myself and Kevin to drive forward a number of client-centric initiatives and product-focused developments that will serve to boost our service delivery capabilities and create opportunities to expand existing client relationships and secure new ones.”
