Bermuda-domiciled re/insurer, Hamilton Insurance Group, Ltd. has appointed Jon Levenson as the Senior Vice President (SVP) of Finance and Investor Relations.
Levenson will report to Group Chief Financial Officer, Craig Howie, and will be based in the US.
Howie commented on the appointment, “I am pleased to welcome Jon to Hamilton. He is highly respected and experienced in his field and has established solid industry relationships throughout his career. Having worked with Jon in the past, I know he will be a valuable addition to the Hamilton team.”
Levenson’s remit in the new role will include being responsible for leading the company’s investor relations and related finance functions.
Most recently, Levenson served as the SVP and Head of Investor Relations at Bermuda re/insurer Everest Group.
Prior to this, he spent over a decade leading the investor relations and treasury functions at Validus Holdings, and brings significant experience to the role.
Earlier this week, the company filed a registration statement on Form S-1 with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for a proposed underwritten initial public offering (IPO) of its common shares.
