Hannover Re appointed Olaf Brock as Managing Director of Hannover ReTakaful and the Bahrain Branch in Manama, effective January 1, 2024.
Brock, most recently in the role of Managing Director Group Finance at Hannover Re, began his tenure with the company in 1999 as Vice President Group Auditing.
Over the years, he has assumed diverse leadership roles in Finance & Accounting.
Since 2017, he has been a non-executive member of the Board of Directors at Hannover ReTakaful.
There, for Hannover ReTakaful, he serves as the Chairman of the Audit & Risk Committee and also leads as Chairman of the Branch Steering Board in Bahrain.

Prior his tenure at Hannover Re, Brock worked with KPMG Deutschland for nearly nine years.
