White Mountains Insurance Group, has appointed Giles Harrison as Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer, and named Liam Caffrey President of White Mountains.
Harrison, who will take over his new role on June 10, 2024, is joining White Mountains from Zurich’s subsidiary Farmers Group, Inc., where he most recently served as Chief Financial Officer.
The executive has served a number of roles during his close to six years tenure at Zurich Insurance Company Ltd. these include CEO Regional Markets EMEA, ad interim CEO Latin America, and Head of Group Mergers and Acquisitions.
Prior to joining Zurich, Harrison was an insurance sector investment banker for 20 years and advised White Mountains on numerous projects in such capacity.
White Mountains also announced that Liam Caffrey has been named President of White Mountains, and will continue to serve as Chief Financial Officer.
