HDI Global SE has appointed Meike Röllecke as the new Head of Cyber & Financial Lines, where she will manage the global underwriting business of the industrial insurer with cyber insurance policies for industrial and corporate clients.
Prior to her new role, Röllecke was Head of Cyber Local Risk, having previously held various posts in the company.
She was Board Assistant in the Finance & Risk Management division and did a stint in the “Group Risk Management” department of the Talanx Group, which HDI Global SE is part of.
She will be responsible for the development and implementation of the HDI Global Cyber Strategy.
Röllecke will report to Dr Mukadder Erdönmez, who as Member of the Management Board of HDI Global SE is responsible for liability and cyber insurance and for motor fleet insurance.
Erdönmez commented: “I’m delighted that we have been able to appoint an expert from our own ranks to head this important line of business.
“In the positions she has held so far, Meike has impressed us a great deal with her expertise, her personality and her strategic approach to work. Over the past two years, she has played a leading role in the realignment of this line of business.
“Meike is the ideal appointment for this product area. The risks in this area are subject to rapid change. Consequently, the needs of our customers are also changing very quickly. That requires a supremely agile team in strategic and operational terms.
