HDI Global Specialty SE, the recently launched collaborative specialty insurance venture between HDI Global and Hannover Re, has appointed Karen Frazer to its London based U.S delegated authority underwriting team.
Frazer joins with immediate effect from Lloyd’s Syndicate Starstone, where she underwrote U.S open market and delegated authority business.
Prior to this she was part of Torus Insurance’s power and utilities underwriting team.
“I’m pleased to welcome Karen to the HDI Global Specialty SE underwriting team,” said Richard Taylor, a member of the Executive Board of Management and UK Managing Director at HDI Global Specialty SE.
“She has proven herself to be a hard-working and results driven team player and I look forward to Karen playing her part in driving our specialty team forward,” Taylor added.
HDI Global Specialty SE’s delegated authority underwriting team provides full agency and binding authority agreements, with both single or multi-line capacity, as either a lead or follow line market.
