Helios, the investment vehicle which provides shareholders with a spread participation at Lloyd’s, has appointed Adhiraj Maitra to the newly created role of Chief Operating Officer (COO).
Maitra joins Helios from Canopius where he served as Group Head of Sustainability.
He reportedly holds 17 years of experience across a breadth of technical and leadership roles, which includes 5 years as a Senior Manager with Lloyd’s capital and planning.
He has also previously worked for 4 years with Willis Towers Watson, leading the capital and risk initiatives in the London Market and as Global Head of Climate Change and ESG.
