HFW appoints Carol-Ann Burton as Partner

HFW, an international, sector-based law firm, has bolstered its re/insurance practice with the appointment of Carol-Ann Burton, who joins the firm as a partner in London.

Carol-Ann BurtonBurton previously worked as a consultant to the firm in London and the Middle East. She has broad experience in financial services regulation, transactions and insurance in private practice, at the UK regulator and as in house counsel.

“I am really pleased to rejoin the HFW team and to have the opportunity to contribute to such a strong and successful practice,” said Burton.

“HFW has an impressive global client base and I look forward to working with them again.”

Her practice covers all aspects of financial services regulation, compliance and corporate governance, as well as complex re/insurance matters including life insurance, and transactional work including business transfers, complex risk transfers, restructuring and exit strategies.
