Specialist global insurer and reinsurer, Hiscox, has appointed Jon Dye as its new UK Chief Executive Officer (CEO), where he will be responsible for leading the firm’s flagship retail business in the region.
Dye has held a number of senior roles within the industry, most recently as CEO of Allianz UK for eight years, where he led businesses with nine million customers, collectively.
He also served as Chair of the ABI between 2019 and 2021; driving collaboration on issues including the industry’s response to the pandemic, FCA fair pricing review, and climate change.
Dye will be responsible for building on the company’s strengths and bringing in new capabilities to help drive the business to greater scale.
