Specialist global re/insurer Hiscox has appointed Mary Margaret von Herberstein as Underwriting Partnerships Manager for its Hiscox Re & ILS division.
In the role, von Herberstein will have a focus on further enhancing Hiscox Re & ILS’ long-term partnerships with quota share reinsurance capacity providers, key brokers and clients.
von Herberstein will be based in Bermuda and brings just under 20 years’ of experience to the role.
She has previously worked for global re/insurers such as Chubb where she started as an underwriter.
Her other roles include Assistant Vice President and Vice President at reinsurance broker Guy Carpenter.
